Ole have been a part of the Joomla community since the beginning, and he is very active in the Danish forum. Ole has the web firm ot2sen.dk, and he owns and maintain joomla.dk.

He is the only Dane who has ever been a member of Joomla's Leadership Group. He switched to Joomla Honor Roll in 2010.

Regin Buss Vels Jensen | www.itkurser.net | Chief consultant

Regin is an MA in IT and works at IBC Kurser, where he has taught for Joomla for many years. Regin was the mastermind behind the introduction of Joomla! for IBC's new website in 2006. IBC was one of the first big educational institutions in the country that switched to an Open Source solution.

He has worked on and developed websites with Joomla! since the beginning in 2005. Regin was the initiator of the first Danish JoomlaDay event in 2010 and the project manager for JoomlaDay 2011.

Ronni K. G. Christiansen | www.redweb.dk | Manager og developer

Ronni have worked with Joomla! for many years, both as a developer and as a designer. He is known from the Amino and Joomla forums where he is very active. He is attached to IBC as an external teacher at Joomla! SEO courses, among other things.

Furthermore, Ronni is the managing director of redHOST, which is a specialised Joomla! web host. He is also behind the development firm redCOMPONENT that has developed the redSHOP webshop system and the event system redEVENT, among other things.

Brian Teeman | brian.teeman.net | Professionel Joomla enthusiast

Brian Teeman is one of the founders of Joomla! He travels most of the world giving lectures and talks about Joomla! Brian also participated last year, which was a huge success. This year he will again share in his knowledge of Joomla!

Brian writes about Joomla! on his award winning blog on a regular basis http://brian.teeman.net and he is never late in expressing his opinion about all things Joomla! related.

 

Nicholas K. Dionysopoulos | www.akeebabackup.com | Developer and manager

Nicholas lives in Athens, Greece, and is originally an engineer. Since then he has moved on to developing web applications. Nicholas is chief developer and owner of the backup system Akeeba Backup, which is a leading component for backup of Joomla!

The component has been downloaded more than 3 million times and is one of the most popular Joomla components. Nicholas is still working on Akeeba Backup, and he is a familiar face at Joomla! events all over the world. He also writes a lot of articles about Joomla!, and he finds solutions for bugs in software. Nicholas was also a guest last year, and we are lucky that he has found time in his busy schedule to visit us again this year.

Ryan Ozimek | www.picnet.net og opensourcematters.org | Manager and OSM President

Ryan is an american and a known face at Joomla conferences all over the world. He owns the web firm picnet.net and is also the president of Open Source Matters (OSM), the organisation behind Joomla!

It is the first time that Ryan is a guest in Denmark. He will talk about how the future development of Joomla! is going to be, and also about the challenges and opportunities the future holds. He will also talk about the OSM organisation and the work that goes into the job as OSM president.

Jesper Riber | www.scannet.dk | Consultant and teacher

Jesper Riber works for A/S ScanNet as a web marketing consultant, where he counsels on SEO. He also sells SEO solutions and does SEO work. He also teaches web marketing for A/S Scannet. Furthermore, Jesper is a web marketing consultant at House of Innovation.

In the last couple of years he has worked with Joomla on websites. He has several succesful Joomla websites. Therefore, he is very qualified to expand your knowledge of SEO, among other things.

Achim lives in Fulda, Germany and is the owner of Codingfish Limited. Coming from classical software development (C, JAVA), Achim is now specialized on web development with a focus on content management systems and online communities.

Achim is the developer of the Joomla! extensions Discussions (Discussion Forums), Marketplace (Classified Ads) and Primezilla (Private Messages).

Thomas Kahl lives in Elmshorn, Germany and has studied economics in Hamburg. During this time, he has developed database applications. After some years working in "real life business", he founded his own company where he developed web applications and built websites.

Soon he started to use Mambo as a foundation for websites and solutions. When Mambo became Joomla!, he specialized in Ecommerce Solutions, Ecommerce-Sites and became part of the Virtuemart Team. Now Thomas offers Joomla! Ecommerce Support, Custom Solutions and Ecommerce Sites on his website.

Carsten Thrane | www.joomlahouse.dk | Developer

Carsten has a smaller Joomla! agency called joomlahouse.dk in Copenhagen. Besides this, he is involved in Joomla's User Group in Copenhagen.

Carsten is a computer scientist and has used Joomla! for about four years. At the moment he is programmring an extension to Joomla! which can handle staff scheduling and staff schedule entries.

Niklas has worked professionally with Joomla! since the very first editions. Today he works as Managing Partner in Opfindsomhed.dk ApS which is a dedicated web agency and IT consulting firm located in Hørsholm.

Along with the rest of the company Niklas has dedicated the last year to the development of Napp. Napp is the world's first CMS system for smartphone apps built on Joomla core code.

Tobias has worked professionally as a developer of Joomla! over the past five years. Today he is partner and project manager in Opfindsomhed.dk Ltd., where he leads the development of Joomla! solutions.

This past year, Tobias was responsible for the development of Joomladelen in the new system Napp.

Mikael Winther | www.modc.dk | Infrastructure architect

Mikael works as an infrastructure architect at EG in Kolding with Virtualization, SAN and HP Hardware. He has experience in coding and customizing Joomla! and is also part of the Danish Joomla! translator team.

In addition, Mikael works with setting up web shops for Joomla!, multi-server replication, load balancing, virtualization and backup. Mikael also offers hosting for Joomla! and hosts around 1100 solutions in his datacenter.

Radek Suski | www.sigsiu.net | Director and developer

In 2003 Radek Suski and his wife Sigrid founded Sigsiu.NET company. Quickly they established the first contact with Mambo CMS (later known as Joomla!) which they also used as a template for their own site.

Three years later they released the first Sobi component and shortly after became Sobi2 published. Today, new programming techniques and Joomla! has done its part in the development of Sobi, and the new product SopiPro is on the market.

Bent Frost and Anders Dahl Rome is busy creating website content of a high quality. With a photographer-professional and a journalistic background they have worked with web content for several years.

The last few years have been challenging due to Google Panda Update which has changed Google's algorithms in large numbers.

Today the weak link is web content when it comes to visibility on the web. Suddenly the content originality and quality are important parameters in SEO.

Bent and Anders' project MindstoreMedieBazar is about getting the content part implemented in the Joomla! culture.

Janich is an dedikeret nord, which have passed alt-i Joomla! His first Joomla!-project building a Joomla! platform with more than 100,000 profiles was a challenge.

He succeeded and after that he has as Joomla! enthusiast actively followed the development of Joomla! and helped Bugsquad'en to test and debug the new Joomla! versions.

Today Janich works as a Joomla!- consultant for all kinds of companies where he helps with everything from analysis to post-launch.

Michael is originally trained IT supporter, but received in 2009 an serious interest in web development and especially for Joomla!. Ever since, he has worked with developing websites in Joomla! and teaching within the web.

Michael works at IBC Kurser and have since 2009 bin close to the web editor class at IBC Kurser. He is still very active in teaching.
